How We Started

West-Central Machine (WCM) was founded in 1994 as a sole proprietorship and small custom machine shop, providing tool and die making and the manufacturing of precision machines, parts, equipment, and assemblies for the fiber optic cable industry.  The company was incorporated in 1997 when it became West-Central Machine Ltd.  WCM currently provides custom machining and fabrication for the bio/food, health, research, agricultural, automotive, and mining industries.

With 40 years of experience in the field of machining and fabrication, WCM operates out of a 2,400 sq. ft. shop and provides general machining operations and CNC turning. Our principal office is located just outside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in the R.M. of Blucher.
